Welcome and thank you for visiting!
"Frozen Below" reaches NUMBER 1!! Yes, "Frozen Below" reached Number 1 on Amazon Australia's list of Best Selling Drama, and Number 2 on Amazon.com's list of Best Selling Australasian Drama!
In the Short Story department, I've had a number published in Flash Fiction Magazine, and in 2014 won The Ellen Kemp Memorial Writer's Prize (part of the "Words In Winter" Literary Festival) for my story "Cooking With Her 'Phone". And my poem "Smokey Bacon Breakfast" made the short list in the Modern Poetry competition at the same festival.
Just a little about myself. I'm a father of 2 who currently resides in Woodend, Victoria, Australia. I previously worked in the Legal Profession for over 20 years, the last 10 as a Practice Manager, before leaving to commence work for myself and have been doing so ever since.
I have been involved in pure bred dogs for over 20 years. I'm licensed by the Australian National Kennel Council to judge at conformation shows (ie, dog shows), and have traveled across Australia judging and competing, as well as overseas to judge and lecture on the Alaskan Malamute. I am involved in the Alaskan Malamute Club, Victoria Inc, (the oldest and largest Malamute Club in Australia), having held the position of President for over a decade, and am a Life Member of that Club. I've been involved in sledding, weight pulling and backpacking (traditional "working" activities) with my dogs for many years.
I started writing as an outlet, and decided to publish after getting some feedback on Frozen Below.
I'm currently working on the sequel to Frozen Below, as well as a novel based in Melbourne's legal scene, and some short stories.
