5 stars: "Frozen below is a great action packed read that has you turning the page at a rapid pace and once I started I couldn't put it down. The scenario is very topical and believable, the survivalist facts fascinating and well thought out - I started wondering if I could learn to do all the things necessary to survive in a similar situation. All in all a great entertaining thriller. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an exciting ride."Dr. B. Trytko
5 stars: "An awesome, captivating read! So hard to put this down, Believable characters and scenarios that can be readily related to. This story instantly transport me to a world that's no effort at all to picture. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone with an interest in the Arctic breeds or those looking for a gripping Australian story. Can not wait for sequel!" J. Daniels
5 stars: "I received this book as a gift to help pass the time and take my mind off a recent surgery. I easily identified with the characters and was quickly taken into their world. What makes this book remarkable is a compelling story where the reader feels as though they are part of the action. If you've ever wondered what it is like to share life and adventure with Alaskan Malamutes, this story is for you. Set aside some time to read as this is a difficult book to put down!" Tommy Williams
5 stars: "So Loved your book, exciting, on the ball, and so hard to put down, It felt like you were there in the midst of it all, there was so much feeling, well done, and Mother-in-law was very trying.. it shows your love of the Arctic Breeds. It makes you wonder if you could learn how to survive in such a situation. Many descriptions without being boring. Highly Recommended for all to read.. Brilliant work, and yes hopefully there is more to come."GlorDav70
5 stars: "Ian Luke certainly knows how to paint a picture. From the very first page, you saw exactly what was going on like you were right there. Frozen Below sucks you in, keeps you enthralled right up until the very end, and leaves you begging for more. This is one of those few books that you wish just didn't end. It has it all. Characters of every day men turned heroes, those whose intentions are not clear and of course, those that everyone would love to see the end of. Fast paced, jam packed full of action, conflict, humour, and even a race right to the end....Frozen Below really does have it all. I for one, am looking forward to reading more from this up-and-coming writer." Shadowlands
5 stars: "I have to say this would be the best story I have read in a long time. The characters are completely fantastic, its well written and immediately you are caught in the story. Each character makes you feel concern for them which says a lot as its obvious that this writer has given his characters a well rounded persona, it shows you can identify with them and their plight. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down and within a an hour was already at chapter 9 and keen to keep reading to find out what happens next. I highly recommend this book, it will have you caught in its spell the minute you open the cover and start on the first page. Well done, great book. Would make an excellent gift for anyone of any age. A++++++++" T. Australia

5 stars: "Awesome read made me feel so much closer to my Malamute and made me think how lucky we are to have such a loving caring breed that will never leave your side and loves to work hard for there owners" C. Rugg
5 stars: "I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was well written and fast paced. The environmental aspects that caused the weather event that the book is based on were well written, explained and very believable! My main interest was in the Malamutes but what I really appreciated was that though they were integral to the book it was a brilliant book even without that personal interest. Happy to recommend" E. McDougall
5 stars: "Very good read. An unusual plot, Australia suffering a mini Ice Age, but told in such a manner it is hard to put down." P. Nicholas Farrell
5 stars: "Fabulously written and constantly moving forward. Once I started, I couldn't put it down until done as I wanted to see how this was going to end. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommended" V. Hampton
5 stars: "Fabulous Great page turning read and for those who want to prepare for doomsday gives you the incentive to start doing it. Was happy to sit and read until it was finished. Certainly doesn't stand still for long but I think it should be under the thriller listing as well." B. Trytko
